Healing One-Eyed Charlie, our foster dog!

We recently started fostering dogs.  Our first fosters were two little lab mix puppies. We had them for a week before they were transported to Connecticut.  They will be up for adoption through For the Love of Labs Rescue.

Now for the STAR of the show, CHARLIE!!! 

Our new Foster is Charlie.  He was found as a stray in Atlanta, GA with a severe eye injury.  He was rescued by Ruff Rescues, Inc. just hours before he was to be put to sleep! He was taken to an emergency vet and given pain medication to get through the night.  The next day he was taken to the regular vet and his eye surgery was scheduled for the following day. Charlie came through surgery like a champ and is now at our home healing.  

He is such a sweet sweet boy.  He was definitely someone's pet.  He loves to give kisses and curl up on the couch. If you would like to follow Charlie's healing journey, I have created a Facebook page for him! :)
